[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A herd of buffalo crossing in front of the sun setting behind a large teak tree on the bank of the Chobe River. There was a smouldering veld fire to the right, which contributed to the colouration.
I quite liked the colour and the mood of the picture, then again I am quite partial to the sunsets in Botswana...
The photo was shot from a boat on the river, shared with some dear friends of ours.

Critiques [Translate]

Nice colours and good strong silhouettes of the buffalo - I like the way the water reflects the colour of the sky, really giving a picture of 3 parts.

Even though taken from the water you almost feel part of the herd. Again, good colour on the water and the sky. The grass show just a touch of green and then the black animals.
At first I thought it was just a tighter crop of the previous post but then noticed the sun is now almost completely behind the horizon.
