[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was taken in the Chobe National Park, at the end of our trip. The tree stump in the foreground provided the perfect "thumbs up!" for the perfect trip.

The shot was taken from the side of the Chobe river, and I cropped it somewhat to improve the composition (removed some of the sky and moved the stump slighty left.

funny title-- it fits well. great capture of colors and sillouettes. nice contrast as well.

I love it! great ripples. and the pastelled citrus haze along the horizon is breathtaking. It reminds me of my time in kenya.

I like the composition and especially the colors in this shot. The 'thumbs up' in the shot really does fit this shot. It is a relaxing shot.

Nice capture of one of nature’s meaningful sculptures; I also feel a great interest for this kind of art – it’s quite amazing isn’t it.

A lovely sunset. Having been to Chobe for the first time in August 2007 this brings back happy memories and a desire to go back for yet another sunset cruise. TFS

As you no doubt already know, this is a stunning photograph! Composition is spot on and different focus points provide lots of visual interest. In addition, you managed to create an extra-ordinary shot from a rather ordinary sunset type picture. Well done!
