[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The sunset photo was taken at the Chobe game reserve on an evening boat cruise.

The original photo is divided into three sections all on different layers to make a tryptich image. The different parts were then framed with an orange colour 10 picels wide and a bevel effect added to the frame
Then the middle and right sections were distorted to add DOF
Finally a black border and text added, flattened and resized for upload.

Interesting work assembly which is very well managed and make it unusual.
It is a personal view, but I may prefer the more classic one.

Beautiful composition and technique; looks like reflections on a window . . .

Many thanks for your comment on ‘Dry sclerophyll forest’...just as you said Wia, two vertical images merged using the software that came with may camera. I actually took the two in panorama mode.

A lovely image and very attractively presented, Wia. I've been listening to much about Botswana, thanks to the "No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency" series by Alexander McCall Smith, which I've enjoyed on audio CDs. I'm glad for a peek at the real landscape.

You have gorgeous sunset colors here, and the elephants truly complete the picture. I'm impressed by your idea to separate the frame into panels; it seems much like looking out a window. A fine piece of work!
