Drotsky's fishing lodge... I think it is either the owner's dog or Piet's dog. As I was getting out of the boat I saw him sitting and waiting.. I think for the kids to come and play with him. I quite like the lighting and the effect of the telephoto lens.

:-) it is very obvious that this is an oldie Hannes...
But sooo sweet... I just love the faithfull look of this doggie. And I agree... the light is indeed very nice here... it really shows that it's a warm summer's day.

Must be a wonderful family friend... I agree the light is perfect to emphasize his look of longing and waiting for his friends.

though he is old, but still alert and attentive.
i like the expression of his eyes, if you look deep in to them you find lots of stories of his past. he may not speak our language but one can easily understand his journey through his eyes.
