Born in another island, Corsica, far from there in the Mediterranean Sea, I love too the vision of sea and the noise of waves.
And it happens that I am also originated from this island, such a long travel, not only in distance, to get back to the roots which have always been mine and that I didn't know ...

Good title for your picture... I'm glad you did such a long travel to find what you were looking for.

Une belle image, Sylvie! C'est tout simple, mais ça dit tout. J'aurais aimé voir un peu plus des barques, et un peu moins du fil électrique cependant. Mais en même, ta photo évoque bien le quotidien de ce jeune homme. Un beau partage!

Superbe. Parfaitement composé et trés bien exposé. Ce qui n'a pas dû être facile avec cette lumiére, mais tu à réussi a garder la texture du ciel. L'orange de la veste de l'homme se détache bien de la légére dominante bleue qui caractérise l'ambiance de cette photo. Je trouve que cela s'accorde bien.

Et puis l'horizon est bien droit cette fois-ci ;-P

This shot is so beautifull.
I like colours, especialy of his shirt. Very strong.
You taked photo and catched the big distance and there is not blur.

Did he know you photographed him? So great as composition. His red jacket is good detail in this grayish environment. It seems that you didn't have perfect weather there.

Les barques rangées à l'abri du port, un homme sur un mur regarde au loin, l'océan ou son pays.
Il y a un contraste frappant entre la couleur de droite et celle de gauche. Belle mise en scène pour celui qui sait écouter et voir l'infini.
