[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Walking around in the streets of Ponta do Sol, I saw her, she was hiding but was so curious of who I was and what I was doing there ... I took some shots of her and she smiled to me.

I can't forget her look and her smile.

"Mininha" is the short for "menina" and means little girl.

Bonsoir Sylvie.
Tu nous offres une exeption à ta gallerie qui n'est pas du moins intéressante. J'apprécie beaucoup la manière dont tu as capté ce regard innocent, de plus le cadrage est excllent. Les lignes qui ne sont pas droites couent un peu à la balance de ta composition, ce qui est un autre aspect intéressant. Sans oublier les couleurs, qui elles aussi captivent le regard.

Quelle belle capture, Sylvie, de cette jolie petite fille qui est gênée mais curieuse. Tu as su capturé son expression d'émerveillement de te voir avec ta caméra. Beau cadrage avec ce panneau presque rose. Bravo!

Beautiful. The hard door and soft child ... the red of the door and the white of the child's shirt ... I like the contrast. And leaving the incline intact was also a good idea. Of course any correction would make the child lean back. The slight softness of focus in the girl's eyes takes away nothing from the image.

Adorable. Well composed and very well seen. There is a kind of poster effect to this. It could be a welcome poster from the local board of tourism. I would personally have sharpened a bit more and maybe even tried to saturate the red surface a bit more.

Very cute! I like the composition. Maybe a little soft on the sharpening though, but perhaps you like it this way.

Même si je n'aime pas "cataloguer" les photographes dans un style particulier, il faut bien reconnaitre que ta série sur le Cap Vert change radicalement de ce à quoi tu nous as habitués jusqu'ici... :)
J'aime beaucoup les différents portraits d'enfants que tu as réalisés, et plus particulièrement celui-ci : cette petite fille, dont la bouille ronde apparait entre les pans de bois rose, est vraiment adorable et ton cadrage intelligent.
Bravo pour l'ensemble de ces images, j'espère que ton séjour a été agréable ;o)

ton cadrage est de nouveau perturbant un peu hors norme, mais ce petit visage dans cette immense tache " ni figue ni raisin" donne une certaine beauté à l'ensemble.

She is beautiful. The color of the boards is very pretty, and makes the picture a sweet pretty girl with pink to match her lips (slightly different hue)!
