| Somewhere in one of those villages, people sell... small kids sell ... as a tourist, a person that passes by you may not like it. Saying "no thank you" and smile is the a way to cope with it in many cases.... or just buy every now and than, it may give a family a meal for a coming day. |

Another speaking portrait, Frans.
It seems like the kid is really asking us, the viewer, to buy those bookmarks.
And the pov you chose really puts us above him, like it sadly is in real life - he's more underprivileged than most of us here...

Hi,
good street shot, I like the colors and the DOF.
I think u used a good angle that makes the shot natural (I can also see his bare foot).
Good Work.
Liron.
Superb pov, Frans and good capture of his look !
Great one again ... I wish it were posted in bigger size.

First, great picture!
But I wonder - how does one take a picture like that? Technically, is the height difference between the end of your down-pointing lens and the child enough to make a sharp picture, or did you use a chair or something like that? Did you ask the child to stand and model for a moment? How did he understand you - did you communicate in any way? Do you think the child expected you to purchace one of his bookmarks and did you eventually?
Yaron.
