renewed-old-tram of Alexandria
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Alexandria has a creaky, slow but very cheap tram system that dates back to 1860 and looks the part. There are nine lines, mostly running parallel to the coast; the yellow line to Ras el-Tin is particularly useful for traveling to Fort Qait Bey. The flat fare is a whopping 15 piasters and the trip across town will take a bare minimum of 45 minutes. In the middle car (out of three) in each interurban (blue) tram is reserved for women only.
in the photo is the old tram of Alexadria...
the tram is one of the main transportations here in Alex.
in this picture is rhe old one, it use to be out of service for along time, ever since they had made the 'new' one which is bigger, and is three carts, while this tram is only one cart,
recently this year, some of them have been renewd and used as a touristic transportation...

Hello Suhailah
First off welcome to TL - if you continue to post quality photo like this you will do well.
You selected a difficult POV that presented lots of contrast from tram to sky. You handled it well.
