[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
sunflowers are my favorate i find them really quite intresting thats why you may find them in most of my 'flower' photo posts ...
this one was taken in our farm in the north west of Alexandria in our sunflower feild, i hang out there most of the time when we visit, its my faveorate place over ther!
but ther are lots of bees and weird insects aswell wich are quite intresting too, as much as the sunflowers are...

PP: this is the original frame, just sharpend image a little bit and resized for TL. nothing more, no cropping here...

hope you like the photo, i was experimenting on macro mode then, or more like practicing...
let me know what you think! =)

hmmm... the note you've written seems quite familiar... especially the PP part where you've written, "this is the original frame, just sharpend image a little bit and resized for TL. nothing more, no cropping or any thing else fancy..."

that is how i describe my Post processing, interesting to see a similar lingo from you suhailah :) heheh..

now let's turn to sunflowers... well, you should see just how many we have on our farm... countless!!! and though i dont like flower photography, i am commenting here to suggest some changes for next time :)

this photo is fine, it has lots of detail, but the question is... are we seeing the true beauty of this sunflower here? i mean, i like the closeup, but think about it... is it really looking as beautiful as it did in the farm where you saw it??

well, suhailah, when a good photographer goes somewhere, he/she takes the time to study the area/scene/subject before photographing it... i think that in order to really bring forth the true beauty of this sunflower, you should have chosen an angle from which light was not falling on this flower, as it is now...

the shadows, in my opinion, are keeping the flower petals from looking gorgeous...

but the good news is that you have a digital camera and lots of room for learning and improvement :) i am not a master photographer, just suggesting something which i think can be helpful :)

if the light fell directly on the sunflower, i think it'd look better :)

thanks for reading :) take care and i congratulate you for the detailed note and for the effort you put into this photo :)

salam alekum :)
