[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This picture was taken at the Aswan rock quarry where most of the stones used in the massive statues in Egypt where taken. In this view it shows the big solid granite cut to the size to accommodate the figure of a pharoahs statue. This will be moved to the site and carved. It was a very hot day and only one fella had the foresight to bring an umbrella.
