[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The sphinxes of Egypt are mythical creatures, seen as guardians in the Egyptian statuary.

Sphinxes are depicted in one of these three forms:
•Androsphinx - body of lion with head of person;
•Criosphinx - body of lion with head of ram;
•Hierocosphinx - body of lion with head of falcon or hawk.

This one in the photo, «Androsphinx», is in Gizé, where, at night, happens a wonderfull show of light and music about Egypt and his legends, with slide and laser projections directly on the sphinx and on the pyramids.

There happens also, all years, in October (I believe),the ópera Aida.

And, my TL friends, both shows are absolutely amazing and magic. I hope you can see them.
