«Remember Alexandria» as title meens a second meeting with a town that made me a great impression when I was in my «twenties». The reason? The book «Alexandria Quartet» of Lawrence Durrell, in which the town is the main personage. So, when finelly I've visited it last summer I've lived one second time everything I thought and I believed in those distants twenties, and I said to my wife ...
...remember Alexandria.
I hope all you my «TL friends» can read this wonderfull book and feel the magic I felt then.
With wishes of a great new year for all,
José mb.

Hello Jose,
The way you play with the black and white tones make your pictures special. It seems if there is a layer placed on it. The effect is a picture from the old days... (positive connotation)
The composition leaves a lot of space. In this space the tree gets all the attention it needs.
I'm very pleased with this picture.

hello, Jose,

this is a wonderful one! minimum details, soft light, every ground has its texture. and non-centered tree is a good compositional decision. a unique shot.

Lena
