Facts about the The Great Pyramid of Giza:

-only remaining member of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
-constructed over a 20 year period concluding around 2560 BC
-remained the tallest man-made structure in the world for over 3,800 years.
-current height is 138.8 m (455 feet)
-total mass of the pyramid is estimated at 5.9 million tonnes
-consists of more than 2.3 million limestone blocks
-Ancient Egyptians shipped the limestone blocks from quarries all along the Nile River.

Based on these estimates building this in 20 years would involve installing approximately 800 tonnes of stone every day. And without the high tech machinery we have today.

A great wonder indeed.

Hi Eileen,
I like what you have done here. The vertical lines from the people, contrast nicely with the horizontal lines of the stones. Good handling of the light, and great detail. The only thing I may have done with this would be to rotate slightly to straighten the horizontal lines.

Nice composition with the right placement of the entrance and the lines created by the people. Very good exposure as well!

Galing ng kuma mo dito a. bakit di ko naisip na kunan ng close-up to. galing din ng timing, parang mga langgam na pumapasok sa lungga yung mga tao. hehe.
