The title is the same as one of the songs I love by Alphaville...did you refer to that??

This is different from your otheres - the B&W. It is still striking. It reminds me of what memories look like in your head. Sort of grainy. I love the lone bird flyng in the air. Beautiful.

The title completely threw me and had to read your note to "samr". BUT, it does work for this image... the crane flying through the air does indeed look big, furthermore this image also looks post war Japan. The extreme contrast is trpical of that period.

Hi Nejat,
it simply hits me! Wise use of grain and b&w (which I mostly dislike as overused without any reason) in this case amplifies the strength of the picture. I love the textures of the sky and the land - one could say it's dull because no details there. But for me this creates a special, unique mood for me. Don't ask why - it's my impression. tfs
