[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A nun, 94 years old, an amazing age for the life she had lived. she came from one of the local monasteries and asked me if I had some medication to cure her eyes ... an 8 years old boy translated my words to her were I explained that washing with boiled (cooled down) water could help her a lot when you do not have a doctor nearby. "I do need some medication", she smiled to me and walked away ...

It is amazing how long this nun has lived, but it shows on her face. I think this photo would have a much bigger impact if you zoomed in closer on her face. That way we could see the texture of her skin even better. In general, the closer you get in, the better!

Wow! This shot has character. The lines on the woman's face seem to tell many stories of her life's experiences. I agree with Serabi that maybe you could have zoomed in a little closer.Thanks for sharing.

very expressive face, and impressive age ..

they live a such hard life ..

I like this right oriented portrait picture.. it's more vivid ..

It's very interesting how you have a special approach to this people..and have a permission to take a picture..for me this is the hardest part of a portrait..

that because most of my pictures are landscapes and macro shooting..;-)))
