You have to climb that rope on the left to get to the group of monasteries Debre Dammos, the oldest ones in Ethiopia.
That canary monk on the top is suppose to help you get there, but only if you pay him :D. I would recommend nobody to climb there without his 'help'. Even with his support it's 'interesting', he is not a strongman and has a lot of problems to pick up rope only, not mention about a person...:)
