Some friends were visiting from Holland, and one French friend was having a birthday. Time to party! We caravaned out of Libreville to a small village on the outskirts and let the beer flow through the night.

WEll, I like the picture, and all...but...
It could have been taken just about anywhere on Earth. If you hadnīt said it is Gabon, it might as well be any place, really!

Still, I like that mood, like a group of campers telling each other those old scary ghost tales!

Simple, but intimate photo around the fire. Haven't done that for a while and this is a reminder to "get out there!"
