Nice colours and details but I think you probably needed a larger lens to really get the most out of this situation - the bird is a little lost in the frame and with the long thin format it almost becomes just part of the branch it's sitting on. The mostly front on pose also doesn't bring out the best of the bird in terms of colours and shape (especially of the beak).
Being closer to the bird with this lens and being more to the left would have helped the overall composition. Not a bad shot, just one which could have been a lot better.
