[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
These marshes are fed from springs which begin on Mount Kilimanjaro, pass beneath a valley and re-emerge on these high plains some 75km away. The plentiful wildlife takes advantage of this water all year round. This was taken in Amboseli at the end of November during the dry season which lasts until about the end of March when the "long rains" begin. Another period named the "short rains" lasts from mid September to mid November and it is during this period - further west - that the mass migration of game takes place from the Serengeti in Tanzania to the Masai Mara in Kenya. I have placed a cropped vertical version in WS. Let me know your preference. Actual focal length 750mm.

Elephants are my favorite. Nice capture, I love this picture as it looks like a wild elephant also which I have never seen. TFS.

We have had discussions on which format to use before you posted and I am still undecided, but I feel they are both good enough to stand on their own .. so nice to see these animals in their natural habitat .. great work again with that Bigma .. tack sharp
