Hi Frans,
I don't believe I've commented on any of your pics yet, but have enjoyed viewing them for sure. So when I seen this one, I thought I better change my thinking, if I'm gona look, I better be saying something lol.
I have enjoyed looking at all this African series. So many of the people seem to have something alot of us lack...happiness, contentment, pride, something. This one is equally as nice as all your other posts. Focus looks top notch as well as exposure. To me, colors in this shot are looking a bit flat maybe, but that's just nit pickin. I love the look in her eyes, I love the catch light in her eyes. You captured what looks to be a natural beautiful smile.

A well done photo.
Keep them coming!

Hi Frans, I love your pictures from Mali! Excellent depth of field here and the detail and clarity is stunning. You can see all the textures of the skin, hair, clothes, etc. Good cropping at the top, maybe I would have left more of the colorful clothing in at the bottom to create balance. Beautiful light hitting those big shiny eyes and wonderful smile. Nice lighting from the side. I would have perhaps increased the contrast a tad to make everything pop out even more. But just beautiful, TFS!

Hi Frans,
How many beautiful portraits did you take during your travels in Africa ? Do you plan to go back there, in Mali or other countries ? What about Senegal ?
She a has a tender smile for you :)

Hi Frans
Very beautiful portrait. Goog colors and sharpness.

How is it that they always smile at you? :)
