[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Day Gecko (phelsuma ornata). These brightly coloured geckos live mainly on trees and feed on insects and also pollen and nectar from flowers. This one lived by our apartment door and ate insects attracted by the light. He is quite tame if you keep still for a short while.

Hi Leslie,
Interesting subject with beautiful colours well captured. I like to see the details of the skin, but it seem to me that the focus is made just behind the head, and the DOF is very narrow, the details are lost in other interesting part of the gecko. The right rear leg is also cut, humm, is it what you want or what you get ?
Anyway, the colours are excellent and natural, but IMHO, the composition could have been better. TFS,
Ivan

Hi Leslie,
This is a very beautiful lizzard.
In spite of the observations made by Ivan, it still is a marvellous shot due to the beautiful colors.

I know what the gecko are, but I've never seen one like that!!! with those colors!!! Fantastic!
I supose it would have been difficult to take this animal in photo. I remember when i wanted to, they run away so quickly...
Congratulations!!!
