The Mobylette in its glory
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Everywhere in Marrakech one may see inside or outside the Medina such vehicles : the Mobylette appears as the ideal way to move...and carry everything : I saw a lively sheep hanged by its horns to the handlebars...
La Mobylette -pour les intimes, la mob- qui permet tous les déplacements et tous les transports : j'ai même vu un homme qui transportait un mouton vivant accroché par ses cornes au guidon... |

Those engines are typically norh african poppular transporation, we owe them to France. Nice shot even a bit blurry.
Hi, Mary. What I really like about this is how the filtered light on the wall reminds me of Arabic writing. In fact, the more I think about it, the more I would consider just cutting the Mobylette out of the scene entirely (Because in the case of a stationary vehicle, I think the shakiness of the photo detracts.) I've tried it (but I can't upload it because my workshop limit is used up for the day, but it looks really good to me. It becomes and abraction of light, shapes and colors. Best, -Hugh
