[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A shot I took on my Finepix last year.. I just like the contrast of the shapes of the buildings.

Cropped, straightened the lens distortion and adjusted the levels.

Nice work David...sometimes I see things this way, patterns shapes etc! I think this could be a little more saturated, but that's just moi! Good job on the sharpness here!

hi David,

you're right about the idea of shapes, the round Dome, the straight rectangular windows even the shadows.. and many others in this shot.. looks nicely sharp and the colors are interesting too, excellent work and well seen result!

Best,
suzy

well i think the contrast itself is fine, but it does no good to the photo, as far as i am concerned.

the dome structure looks as though its been pasted straight on to the photo without any thought, though i know its a part of the photo itself, but it doesn't look right to me.

a harsh critique but i am being honest sir :)

have a great day captain :)

Hi David,

I, too, like to see interesting shapes. I like each building individually, but for some reason the photo doesn't have the "ummmph" that I see in your other photos. Perhaps more contrast (you know that's my favorite). I think this might do well in black and white too. Lisa

Hi David,

GReat architectural detail and colours captured in this photo. Well composed and captured. Sharp and light well metered. Tfs.

Regards,
Martyn
