[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Had some requests for more so here's another Himba portrait (until people get fed up with it).
This one of a married young lady. Again the look in her eyes so in contradiction with the look in the childrens' eyes.

No attempt has been made by me to spotheal some marks on the faces. This is them!

Shot in RAW
Adjusted WB
Decreased highlights
Increased midtone contrast.
Resized
Framed
USM (100, 1,4 ,3)

Magnifique portrait!
Ce regard lointain ne me laisse pas indifférent.
joli travail !

Good think you haven't messed with the skin. Why render them into a visual product?

Keep'em coming. I really enjoy your consistency in approach and quality.

I noticed that her look was not as cooperative as that of the kid. In this, she resembles the older lady. Difficult to create the solid, intimate contact that it takes to create a real good portrait. And still, so much can be read from her face.

Great portrait! Everithing works. FRom the tight crop to the tones & saturation.

Well done!

Ben.

Hele directe impact. Mooi direct oogcontact ook al kijkt ze niet direct in lens. Mooie ook de huid kleur.

Beautiful portrait. Nothing to crit.

Ahh very nice indeed. great job keeping it real. I enjoy portraits that are real and not made to look cartoonish and plastic.
You have a great talent, what besides treklens are you using it for? (if you dont mind my asking.)
Matt

This is a great portrait. You have managed to capture an intensity to her look, the light is good in that it doesn't throw too many shadows, but allows her colour to show. How did you persuade her to model for you?

She wrap her hears in a kind of clay? I like the result! Probably it have some weight. Impressive!

ongelovelijk mooi!

This is as sharp as it gets! Well done...

It is well worth fixing the skin if you have the correct process... The skin would look fantastic smooth!
