This little boy had been enjoying the beach in Gorée island during all that very hot afternoon.
He wanted to get back into the water again but her mother was watching him.
You can have a look at one of my posts on TrekEarth a few days ago where you can see him with his mother In Gorée

Bravo!

beautiful and meaningful. the way the ocean seems so vast and the boy looking so small against nature. the fear and the curiosity can be felt. however, my personal preference would to have the boy a little to the side, instead of dominating the center of the composition. but, that's only my opinion, otherwise, i think u have caught a photo that speaks by itself, simple yet strong.

Great job, it's funny how kids never get tired of playing in the water, you captured this well!

Hi Sylvie,
This is a great photo. Superb composition. The child looks so tiny in the face of the waves.
Very well done.
Sunil

Truly a wondeful moment

Wonderful piece of work, Sylvie !
I love the expression of the little guy's hands.

stay well,

I like the diagonal composition of the sea. Very cute little boy which adds a good human element. Well done.

Fine image of the eternal and the local.
The boy facing the vastness ... that's the human spirit. Excellent omposition with the surf forming a half circle.

Wooooh a really lovely shot.I like the frame.

Bonjour.
Ce petit bonhomme a l'air effrayé par la mer. C'est la première fois qu'il y vient ?
Bravo pour cette prise de vue !

Hi Sylvie,
A small kid in front of great ocean & in a lonely beach (As shown in the pic). His pose shows that he is amazed & wants to play. The waves & sand looks wonderful. Thanks for sharing.

Srinivasan

Great capture. Here is the hesitation, both is calling him, the sea and his mother :))
So nice shot!
Elif

hi sylve
la vague forme une jolie diagonale, les couleurs pastelles du sable donne un beau coloris c'est ce qui fait la photo pour moi. Le jeune garçon n'est pas bien en place, enfin c'est mon idée

A brilliant shot has been taken with vivid texure of sand and water flowing effect. Expression of the child has been beautifully captured.

Whether the subject is male or female - it is not important (ref your commentary note) Ehh English language ;-)

Thanks for sharing a cute moment.

Hi there,

I just tried a workshop on this image, but I couldn't do anything with it. So I conclude you did a good job with this. I like it, it's cute and almost endearing. :) He seems so apprehensive- completely cute. :)

I like the busy-ness of the sea and just- I like this, it's cute.

Well done Sylvie.

Biance.
