A nice cutback at Club med,

i love the small details in photos like this, the fins of the surfboard visible, the hand placed in the wave,

The lighting angle on this is skewed you caught good action but the POV with the lighting is skewed..

Great action sad others have not noticed it sooner.

You work with what you've got. You couldn't very well take the shot from the middle of a wave. The backlighting didn't prevent you from capturing something real. The whole series displays a good feel for the action.

Hi Mark, As a retired surfie i love to see photos such as this. It is a good sports action photo. Well timed. This is just like our waves at Oakura Beach in New Zealand years ago.
TFS. Murray.

Nice one, Mark. The angle, the facial expression of utmost concentration, the body language, incl. the hand in the water - there is a lot of action going on here. Also, one doesn't get to see many images of African surfers. Like the previous image I commented on, this one deserves more attention. TFS! Cordelia :))
PS: The image looks a bit 'foggy' - don't know if it's due to my bright screen, though.
