A local dropknee bodyboarder hunts for shade at the surf spot Club Med in Dakar.

on one of my previous visits to Dakar I left a board there to be given to one of the local surfers who often have trouble getting hold of boards,
many local have to wait and borrow boards to get a chance in the surf.

here this surfer makes the most of the board i had left there on my previous visit.
the board is a custom hand shaped bodyboard from Western Australia, Funkshen is the brand name and the shapper was Dave Tulloch.
