Oh, that dark purple eyebrow liner! So Senegalese! Hehe, what is this woman's name?
Very beautiful portrait, I just love the way she is standing against an off-white, plain background to really make her pop out. The colors are beautiful, and good vertical framing and cropping for portrait-style. I would only recommend not cropping the top part of her headdress since that breaks the continuity and composition a bit. Good diffused natural lighting used to bring out her features and nice slightly low POV looking a little up at her face to emphasize her regal clothing and look. The angle and her pose also bring out the wonderful shape or outline of that magnificent headdress. Oh, I was going to do a workshop but it won't let me...

Jolie tout plein, la doudou!
Bravo Sylvie.

Annie

Hi Sylvie,

Lovely portrait. Nicely composed and natural expression of the lady is well captured.

Heyloo!
First b&w, then sepia, and now in full colour... Great series of portraits!!!
Seen her before ;)
I agree with Frans about the shyness, which definitely makes the photo more than just a still picture, but adds a real human side to it.
And the vibrant colours, the orange! Wow! Love it.
Great job!
Nuné

Your title says too little, Sylvie... should be: portrait of a beautiful woman ;o)). And it's a true beauty. The portrait, I mean. Well, the woman too, obviously. But what really attracts me most in this shot is the colour palette...
A pity you mist the top of her hat.

hello Sylvie,

A portrait of a strong, proud woman !
she looks fantastic with the orange cloths, they really dress so perfect. if we wear that we look like clowns :)

Were you THAT excited to leave the top of the hat out!!!??? What were you thinking!!!!! Ay, the lacking tip of the hat nerves me as this is a fabulous portrait with all elements in place - the expression, the side-pose, very playfully matched colors. Bravo, just bravo.

A.

Hi Sly this portrait is great!

Hello Sylvie...

this woman is very pretty and she has a great smile...
the orange suits her well...
great portrait
