Another portrait of a woman in Dakar, the day I was leaving after 3 weeks of strong moments spent there with people I love and I miss.

Taken in natural light and converted to b&w, cropped and resized for TL.

beau portrait avec un cadrage bien pensé (comme souvent), tu as saisi une expression agréable avec une part de mystère, le jeu d'ombres et de lumière est fantastique, captivant !

I like how the picture is almost like a black/white spectrum, mostly black on the left and mostly white on the right.

One of the finest closeup portraits I have ever seen. Her strength of character, her sweet features, her beautiful limpid eyes - all emphasised by the tight strong compostion.

hi sylvie,

i like her look and the way you positioned her on the left with a the black. it is a very nice portrait but I would have removed the 2 white spots on the blouse. next to that a tiny black line around would not give you the feeling to "loose" the picture on the right. but that is a choice and a minor detail.
