[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A new version of a photo i published as one of my first on TrekEarth. Now on Treklens.
I am not sure wheter this photo is made on the Senegalese or Mauretanian side of the border, it's already over 7 years ago I photographed this little sheperdboy, shrugged up to his big brother, somewhere in the middle of nowhere along the Mauretanian/Senegalese border. Photo made with a disposable 35 mm camera. I later digitalized the negatives. PP in CS 2 with OnOne suite 4

hello Jan,
a picture with lots of impact. It has an almost graphical feel. I like PP work and the contrast between the bright colours of the boy's headdress and the black and white treatment of the tree.
Bev

Generally I Don't like those sort of manipulations. But this time it helps focussing on the really beautiful thing which is the boy's eyes. I think you saved a poor picture from a poor camera and made it become a masterpiece !
