[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi all

I am in the new era of my photography.

I am trying to feel more than just look and snap.
My images from now on will try and portray,
1: Depth of field
2: Rules (to an extend)
3: imagination.

Sharpness will come with experience gained, so to will my exposure.

Hope you will enjoy my journey to becoming a true photographer.

Clint

Hi Clint,

Very good DOF, excellent sharpness in both background and foreground. Very good decision in the placement of the rock on the right, it's semi-silhoutte figure adds a nice frame. However, I would have preferred more of the (raging) sea and less of the sky. The sea seem very dramatic and the sky looks dull. Thanks for sharing.

Best regards,
Allan

Very interesting image, and it does show a great consideration for some of the formal rules of photography. However, the framing could be inproved, most nably the formation on top of the rocks to the left. Hyperfocal distancing could help with some shapness loss due to refraction at small apertures as well. Moving the lines away from the center of the image will increase your dynamic tension, and add anouther element to the image. A circular polarizer might help increase the colours as well.

But the image is quite good.

Well, you've captured a dramatic scene! Whether your composition here follows the rules is up for debate; also with no exif data I can't see what aperture you chose for your depth of field, but there's no doubt that the metering is good and the sharpness is impressive.
Nice work, my friend, and I salute your new era!!
