I need to try out this studio type thingy. I have non (studio that is).

I just layed my 5 year old daughter on the bed and played around with the camera, .......untill she closed her eyes. ( Clever little girl, I would not have thought of that.....(*_*)) And will not forget it either.

After about 5 shots I got this.....And I would like to thank her for her patients. As she wanted to giggle the whole time.....So did I.

Haha ... my friend you have surprised me!
This is a lovely shot, very intimate and tender, and your daughter has done a delightful job feigning sleep. She's a natural!
I could end here and say it's beautiful as it is; the light is good, the placement of her face/eyes within the frame is excellent, the sharpness and especially the detail of her hair is fantastic.
Of course, if you WANT me to be picky ... the light could be softer, it would reduce the contrast between light and shadow around her eyes and nose. Also you could go for either a closer crop, or a slightly wider one so that her hand isn't half chopped.
Like I say, I'm just being an idiot - this is the best portrait you've done and it's a beauty, congratulations to you and to Storm as well on her role in the success!

Hi Clint, the photo just glows with the warmth you created with your daughter. She's a good little model and you did it very well. TFS. Great dof and pov. I would have thought you 'stole' it while she slept if you hadn't told us.
