nice colours and good idea...specially with her hair wich are beautiful
i am not sure about light/shadows which if i look at her from right seem to make her face flat or not natural...but it can be also effect of too close shot or lens-> focus is on her hair not eyes and face what disturbs when i look at her: it's easier to focus on her hair, not face becouse of the blure
i hope you don't mind my comment
you photo is lovely but remember always eyes (and lips) must be sharp
Another lovely shot, your children are delightful (you meant Angel, right? hehe) and my first comment would be - you're right, avoid the PS stuff. Their skin is perfect and you don't want to be messing around with effects!
The shadows here are fine I think, yes the lighting is the same as in your previous shot but not quite so harsh, it seems. (By the way - I bought a white umbrella which I place in front of the spotlights ... it works well as a softbox!)
The POV and pose are nice, and the choice of colours for her dress and the sheets is good because it compliments her well; you could frame these two shots and hang them on your wall and they'd look great.
I guess all I question is the orientation of the shot. We're used to seeing the human face vertically, and despite myself I tilted my head to "see" Kyna's face. I don't know if it's a bad thing, it means I spent more time with your shot than with many others, but it may be worth looking at how you can present a similar pose with a different alignment?
Once again - minor points because your work here is lovely. All I can recommend is that you continue practising, so long as your two models are willing, because it's practice that will let you find the little tricks and improvements to create more of these winning shots.
Well done!

Hi, Clint, well, she's as beautiful as her sister! I'm not sure about the rightside placement as I think it would have stood by itself, so to speak in portrait mode. I'm sure this is a good time for 'bonding,' with Daddy, too, so it's nice that you have a camera that you can practice with and get some decent shots as well as building your family portfolio album.
This is another good portrait of your daughter. I'm no expert at lighting, but maybe you could set up the lighting to exclude the shadow underneath her neck. She is a very beautiful child and will be a great model for you. I like the direct eye contact with the lens.

Hi Clint, You found a beautifull model here. I like the POV too. For the shadow, I would have put a light under the face of your model, just to avoid the shadow under the chin. For the rest, its very good!
