[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi

My friend and I have been cleaning up his attic and are turning it into our own little studio. So far we have two 500w spot lights, and a lot of material for backdrops. Our next buy-in for our studio will be 4 more lights (6 in all), 2 will be around 200w. We will need two umbrellas or we shall make a stainless steel dish for reflecting the light back into the subject area. (Not to be too harsh on the face...REW's tip of the day...and have a look at the face...NO HARSH LIGHT) Thanks for the advice on the harsh light REW.

Nice portrait, I like it.

Congratulations on your new studio. The lighting here is perfect for this portrait. Very good skin tones. My compliments.

Bonjour.
Un beau portait.
Une luminosité impeccable et un modèle parfait.
Tout pour faire une bonne photo. Ce qui tu as réussi à faire.
Bravo !

Yup, I see it! Excellent work. Your lighting setup works already - it's well lit and well metered, and you've made good use of the elements of large aperture and close crop to create an intimate study of your subject.
Make sure that focus is locked on your subject's eye(s) - I'm not sure if that was your focal point in this shot?
This is great work my friend, keep them coming!
