Hi all

This is a light house in the centre of a golf course, right on the beach side in East London. Must have seen a lot of golf balls in its days, esp mine...LOL.

You can still hear the fog horn for miles, early in the morning when fog is thick.

Nice capture of this lighthouse you say its on a golfcourse...is it to warn you of Bunkers and sand-traps lol

Nice crisp metering and colours here Clint, good detail also.
I have no expertise at all in this area so I can't really give a valid critique, I suppose if it was me I would have tried to get an angle without the pine trees, but I suspect that building to the left - or somethng else entirely - prevents that. It would be interesting to see what other angles and POVs were avaialble.
Anyway thanks for making me think so hard first thing in the morning. :|

I'm sure my friend, Captain Pilot Georg Martens has seen it many times from out the air. This morning he had an early flight to East London again.

Interesting building this lighthouse. Reading your note, I am very curious to see it in its environment. Here I would suggest to clone the building on the left completely. The colors and details are very sharp !

But I would like to see a photo of the lighthouse , the golf course and the sea . Tough call ? May be not , Think about it next time you pass by .
