Yet another 'crossed processed' image.
For those of you digital photographers out there, cross processing is when you take slide film (or transparency) and run it through the C41 process (neg film process) as apposed to the E6 (slide) process which results in a negative image. Playing with the reversal of the film state cause all the colours to react irrationally and you get wonderfully contrasty image. This technique can be very unpredictable though and it can be difficult correcting colour casts as one can have a cyan as well as a yellow cast at the same time.
Loads of fun for the creative experimental photographer/artist! |

I really like this Tamarin! The tones and colors are interesting and eyecatching. It sort of reminds me of the artist "Coldplay" for some odd reason. I like the grain/noise and your idea here.

Hi Tamarin,
I like this effect. I've not heard of this technique. The colors are magnificent as are the halo effect around the person.
This is a great abstract.
thanks for sharing a new technique! Lisa
great color tone.
congrats.

Hello Tamarin,
Highly interesting photo... To me, it expresses a thought, a state of mind, rather than something concrete. The power of suggestion, enhanced by good old "grain" of analogue photography ;o).
TFS & kind regards,
Erik
