Taken outside the one small shopping mall area south of PE. I sat down and took it balancing against the small railing there to try to capture the intimidating sky and lighting.
PP: added some contrast, sharpened and resized to site. Comments welcome.
Update - Port Elizabeth, not Durban - my apologies to all |

Hi Tim & Merry Xmas
Wonderful graphism & a superb warm cold opposition between the red & blue. Good pov & excellent sharpness. I've been to China 5 times, & this is pretty close to the real thing which is more ornate.

Nice job, Tim. You captured it well, the nice colours against the dark clouds. I like it.
Best regards,
Don
The dark red color of the architecture looks great under the dramatic sky.Good angle and perspective too.

good night photo tim :)
good control of exposure
Hello Tim,
Great compo. Who did arrange that sky?!?
TFS Thomas
A quite dramatic sky as the backdrop for this building. It's an interesting contrast between the orderly construction style and the chaos of nature. A nice composition, but I'm not sure about the building being cut in half by the pole. Very nicely exposed for a night photo.
