Hi Friends,
When I took this photo, I thought it is a new species, since it is the first time I saw an immature Diderick Cuckoo. I have been birding for a long time, and it is difficult to spot this birds. How many of you (in South Africa) has seen one in this colours?
This photo was taken at Witsand Nature reserve near Postmasburg.

Excellent Jan. Well composed and lovely colour/detail in both the bird and the log. A little more light on the face perhaps, I would have done a workshop but I see you have that facility disabled.
