[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a Whitebrowed Sparrow-Weaver. Male and female looks the same so I have no idea what this is. You will always find then in pairs or small groups and they are busy with nest building throughout the year. They are about 18cm high.
This was taken during November and it was very hot. I think that was why his mouth was open, to help him breath better. He was sitting on a cement table very close to where I was.

Sweet little creature... I love the mouth, the parched state the little thing is in... and the tones in the background seem to help imply the fact that it was so dry/hot. Good focal range, and in general a nice shot of the little birdy. ;P

Hello Ben,
This is a new bird to me :) They are like Blue Jays; they don't have recognizable difference between male and female, only when they are juvenile. This is an interesting post and if I had time, I would have tried to apply USM in PS CS to see if it can improve details. Take care and TFS,

Hallo Bennie Boy. Wat hoor ek now van Hendrika ? Leg jy nu onder die mes ? Het jy nie gepraat nie. Toch nie in de Grote schuur in Kaapstad ,nie ? Het ek mooie plaatjies van, genomen tydens de ride. !
Moe jou nog vertel, ek het 7 jaar gelee ook een kunst hartklep inplant gehad. Het now heleboel keerties al geboem boemd.
