[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello TL mates
First of all, I know this photo is not perfectly in focus, and that's due to the fact that it was a very windy day, and I had my Sigma 50-500Ex lens on the camera, without a tripod.
What made me take this shot, is the harmony of this two dragonflies when they fly. Both flew in one direction, and they were not pulling against each other in any way.Interresting is the way the male and female connects, and both their wings are free for movement.
It was not easy to capture them, but I followed them for a while, and when they landed, I focussed and let the shutter go.
I think this would have been a stunning photo, if the focus were more up to standard.
I still think this one is not too bad.
Thought I should share this with you.
Thanks for viewing, and hope you like it.
Cheers
Jan

Hello Jan :)
Really nice shot ! I enjoy the title :) Thanks for sharing. Great colours, good work !
Marylou

It's actually a very good capture. Very artistic look. The b/g sets them off perfectly.
There's something very fragile about the image. I like it.

Hi Jan
This is a superb. Natural History shot two Dragonflies / Danselflies attempting to mate. Well done.

It's so difficult to catch this insects! You've managed to find and interesting moment!

I like the composition as well.

Gorgeous sight, good geometry, stunning coloring and perfect background! For next time I wish you a good weather for a perfect focusing.

Simply awesome!

the focus is fine, the colors of the dragonflies stood up making it a very good capture. cute title too!

TFS!

Hi Jan,
I think you have a very, very high standard. Already thought so when I saw your critique on BenF's picture with the 2 ants.
Would it be allright to just enjoy this picture and say it is absolutely great? Because that is what I think when looking at your picture.
Ik moest ook heel erg lachen toen ik las dat jij zei dat Ben gestunteld heeft - in het afrikaans klinkt dat erg leuk - very funny.
Baie dankie
Punten volgen dit weekend.
TFS
Els
