[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Well TL mates, I was shooting a sports event last week, and decided to share some school athletics with you.
This was a primary school event, and the young boys and girls really did there thing here.
This was the daughters O/13, 100m hurdle event, and I would like you to comment on this photo, since it is so nice to do this type of photography, and one always want to improve.
I have a few high jump, as well as long jump photos, that I will share with you.I found that a shutterspeed of 1/800 works well for this type of action, but lower than a 1/640, creates too much motion blur, so this is just a tip for those who want to do this for the first time.Enjoy the photo.

Jan,
I like how you froze the action with the 1/800th exposure. I also think the DOF is good. I might have shot at a wee bit wider angle to be able to crop into it a bit because it does sort of look unbalanced but not so much I dislike it. I just mean for "perfection". I think this is a very good image. Cool thing about this shot is that all three runners aren't touching the ground!
