hello Ben
angle and light are amazing, good moment captured,
regards
jo

Perfect lighting in my opinion- I love the golden color of the sun. I think the background could be a bit more blurred, and the subject a bit more sharper.
Thanks for sharing!

Hi there!
WOW - this guy is scary!
I like the close-up nature of your pic, but I have to say it would have been better had he been is crisper detail. But overall a lovely shot, with great colour, especially in those hungry eyes.
Well done and TFS!

Hi Ben,
WOW- A golden Lion and a majestic one at that ! Very brave of you my friend-- Take care and TFS Julie

Hi Ben! Unlike my deer, they are not quite as easily approached and harmless, I would guess! I shot a bear from up close a few months ago, that made me (and my family) a little nervous.....
Cheers

Ben
Groete
Jan

Hi Ben

I think the light here with the gold tones is amazing. Wonderful tight framing with excellent eye contact. With the hungry eyes and the lips being licked I think you are being considered for lunch

Stunning shot, like the light. I agree that the face a little bit out of focus/to small DOF.

Hallo Ben
Gaat alles goed?
Great composition well presented.

Hi Ben,
All I can say that it's a great shot. Most people trying to take a shot of a golden LION woudnt make it that well as you did.
Thanks,
MissPotter

Hi again Ben,
I realize that I missed some of your beautiful pictures. This lightning is wonderful and this is an excellent capture of this majestic animal. This must be something to have a lion walk just in front of you... You really live in a very different world... I had a look at how a trip to Kruger could cost me and I better win the lottery before going there. It is really far from home, 24 hours and more by plane... Someday, I'll do it though ;) Thanks,
Claudine

Hi,

Personally I am a lover of lions (my namesake ofcourse :-) ) and you captured this Lion excellently. He seems so focussed on where he is going or what he needs to do and that is what comes across from his expression. The clarity on his eyes is awesome. It appears as if the sun is rising and he is walking straight into the sunrise :-)

Awesome!!
