[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was really a interresting photo when I downloaded it. First time I saw a ground squirrel with a bird's leg for lunch. I figured that it must be a bird that has been killed by a motorcar or something else. I do not believe that this fellow actually caught a life bird.It would be nice if someone post some info on this type of behaviour. I reckon, they sometimes eat dead animals off the road.

Great image of this little one. I did not know that they eat meat.

Very cute little squirrel, like you, I had no idea squirrels ate roadkill??? he looks happy with it though.
