[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I am busy trying out new lighting techniques in my studio - I need al the crits I can get on my moddeling work to help me make it better. The bright light from the model's left was done intentional as there is a shaded simmilarity on the opposite side - does this work in this image?

All advise will be appreciated.

Lighting:
* 1 x softbox on model's right;
* 1 x flash bounced from ceiling;
* golden reflector from below.

PP:
Levels & Cropped only, no sharpening or anything else. Added border.

Only one comment namely the right of the pic (model's left temple) seems to have too much light, placing the portrait off-balance. Other than that an excellent pic.
Cheers

Carlo

Hello Markus, now that you draw my attention to it, the lighting seems almost perfect to me but a bit too much on her left temple.

And I find the portrait taken too much straight in front. I prefer when the head is a little turned or tilted from the torso.

I am not too sure of the bg texture.

Besides that, the colours are perfect, well saturated but not too much and lovely and natural skin tone to add to that.

Take care, Yan :)

Ditto on Robert. I agree. Otherwise, a very good effort

Very natural. I wouldn't have noticed the light if I didn't read the other posts but now I can see it. It's very natural and that is nice.
