5 Rand Coin
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This one is uploaded for the hunt "MONEY", but I just realised that it was taken way before the hunt was opened, so it could not be added to the hunt... boo-hoo-hoo...
Shortly after I got my Canon 300d, I tried out the minimum focal distance, settings, ..., well, I played around with it. One of the items I photographed, was our 5-rand coin - about all I had left after buying the camera.
(Just think about this: 7.5-Rand = 1-Euro, or also 6.3-Rand = 1-USD)
PP: Cropped, white balance corrected, USM, border. |

Hi Marcus,
Nice picture of our almost worth nothing money - still have so way to go to be on par with the Zim $ :). Nice sharp picture showing some detail on the coin I have not noticed till now.
Cheers
Andre
It passes through my hands very regularly but it is very seldom that I really look at it. Nicely done. Background works well. Texture differs but very much the same colour as the coin.
Very nice. could go through as macro. Great detail.
Now where is the softbox? ha ha
At first I wanted to pick and kill the composition on this one and the more I look at it the better it gets
Still looking for a gogga on the side

Not bad but the underlayer is wrong, same color and almost no contrast. Idea is nice
Rob
awesome macro shot, plenty of detail, can almost see the germs on it.
