Hello Lee,
really nice natual capture. I like the flower and the blurred background.
It's a pity that the flower is a bit blurred (it can be partially recovered in PP using the sharpening function)

regards,
alberto.

These Gazanias are always so beautiful and sunny. It is a little unsharp, but keep on practicing, and the results will come. I like your composition and the colours too. TFS

I like this one. Very bold, striking colours. Very shallow depth of field ensures the background does'nt clutter the picture, but still adds to the nice deep colours. Flower still seems pretty sharp, not exactly sure what you mean by the focus being lost when resizing. Not bad, I think.

Hi Lee,
Great Gazania close-up.
I like your pov,dof,colors,cropping and blurred bg.TFS
PS.I took my daughter's photo with fall bg last week but I did not post anywhere yet.
Maybe I can post to flickr just to show you:)
Take Care,
Chris

Hi Lee,
Yes sometime compression make the picture rather unsharp. But you can sharpen them using photoshop, I like your compo in here btw. And I tends to clone out the white in the flower petals.
