beautiful work with light and shadows here...they both fall perfectly across his face and body...although it makes it look as if he is in a prison of some sort to me...maybe either physically or metaphorically...was this the intension...great capture...peace***

I think you came up with a great image Jaco! I like how the light is played on your subject. It is perfectly in line with the way his body was leaning forward. The shadows on the table counteracts the leaning subject, and makes the image balanced.

Jaco.. this is very good!Could be used as a book cover for many books.. About religion..some one in Jail..
and as you stated here for a competition..Wellobserved. I normaly am not such a fan of non clour photo's but this is realy special! TFS

Very powerful shot here Jaco!!! The B&W choice is perfect with beautiful tones. Excellent lighting provided a dramatic effect and the shadows make the image for me. I hope he really likes this one. It deserves to be published. Very well done Jaco!
