| Bourke's Luck Potholes are an example of soil erosion.These cylindrical holes, some of which are up to 6 meters deep, are situated at the confluence of the Blyde and Treur Rivers. The potholes were named after Tom Bourke who owned a very profitable gold mine nearby, these days called Bourkes Luck Ghost Mine, Where old mining equipment and a hanging bridge can still be seen. |
