[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The start of another great adventure in South Africa. After a 4 hour delay in Frankfurt "home" at last.
There was an upside to this delay, because now we could see the daybreak over Cape Town and that was very exciting I can tell you.
Cape Town International is a new, spotlessly clean light and airy airport and because of it's (small) seize easy to navigate. The people are all helpfull and friendly, although the desk for checking in can be occasionally understaffed.
We rented the car, threw ourselves in the rush hour with a feeling of excitement - were welcomed at 8 o'clock in our guesthouse with a ready room and breakfast with coffee.
A great start - a great day - a great country.

This picture was taken through the window of an Airbus - the plane was so huge that I was wondering if it could take off...

What a love Cape Town morning. The pink in the sky predicts a clear and sunny day. You managed well to show the 'smallness' of the airport. Only one (or is it 2) plane(s) in the far distance.

mooi in beeld gebracht, the hussle and bussle at the airport. een vliegveld, zeker op de terugweg, geeft me altijd een beetje een melancholiek gevoel..
kaapstad heeft zeker een heel fijne luchthaven!
