Lovely bright capture, I like the differnet greens. This type of frame also looks good. Its nice that your husband is understanding of your hobby :-)

I would love to see a shot of these flowers when they are out in full too as a comparison.

Nice remembering picture.
I had it too, so I bought last summer a little plant like this in Holland, We left it the winter outside, guess what, it starts flowering by now.

Regardless of the conditions Els a fine image, a difficult flower to get just right especially this particular colour. I think the framing really does make this one. There are vast flower farms in various parts of Australia producing the protea for the cut flower and export market. TFS,
